Administrative Director
Reporting to and in partnership with the Executive Director, the Administrative Director will plan,organize, and direct the day-to-day operations of NAMI Montgomery County as it continues to grow.
Responsibilities
Drive NAMI MC’s daily operations as a nonprofit
Organize and coordinate office administration and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety

Create and maintain intra-office communication protocols
Streamline administrative procedures
Provide assistance to the Executive Director on a variety of tasks
Financial Duties
Organize paperwork for the bookkeeper
Create invoices for grants
Process donations
Thank donors with the assistance of the Director of Development
Provide general support to office visitors
Order supplies, materials, and equipment as needed
Mange relationships with vendors and service providers ensuring all items are invoiced and paid on time
Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors and service providers
General administrative duties including answering the phone and preparing mailings
Facility maintenance including everything from coordinating repair and maintenance of the office to organizing supplies.
Coordinate with IT on office equipment
Assist with the planning and execution of special fundraising events
Allocate tasks and assignments to office volunteers and monitor their performance
Perform other related duties as requested
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Three-years plus experience as an administrator
Energetic professional who doesn’t mind wearing multiple hats
Demonstrated excellence in organizational, managerial, and communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices and procedures
Be organized and exhibit follow through on tasks and goals
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and priorities work
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Thrives with little supervision
Knowledge of Salsa CRM (preferred)
