Important conversations about racial equity are happening throughout our region. Montgomery County is developing a Racial Equity and Social Justice Policy, and many regional funders are looking at their policies, processes and grantmaking with an equity lens. As leaders in social justice work, nonprofit organizations have an important role to play in advancing equity in our community.
This Funders Dialogue will be an opportunity for a dialogue with local funders about how racial equity is informing their work with nonprofits. How does it change the expectations of grantees? How can nonprofits be an active partner in this work?
