The Community Development Block Grant Program is a federal grant for housing and community development projects that benefit low and moderate-income persons. Rockville is accepting applications for an anticipated $263,000 in federal CDBG funds it will receive in fall 2023.  This funding is a subset of the Montgomery County CDBG program, that is designed for nonprofits serving Rockville residents. CDBG money can be used to provide grants to housing providers for housing and community development projects that benefit low- and moderate-income households or neighborhoods.
Fiscal Year 2024 grants will fund projects during July 1, 2023-June 30, 2024. For more information or to access the online application link, applicants can view our website: https://www.rockvillemd.gov/942/Community-Development-Block-Grant
