Nonprofit Montgomery’s reasonable membership dues are based on the size of your organization’s budget, and there is a $25 early bird discount if you join by July 31. The Community Use of Public Facilities is accepting Facility Use Subsidy Program (FUSP) applications for Fiscal Year 2017 (July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017). More information, including how to apply can be found here.

501cTECH a nonprofit provider of technology support is merging with Tech Impact, a nonprofit technology services organization and the operator of an award-winning IT training program for underserved youth. The expanded organization will be known as Tech Impact and will provide technology support and services to nonprofits nationwide.
Recently WorkSource Montgomery, Inc. sent out a newsletter with updates such as: receiving $1.7 million from the merger between Pepco and Exelon and expanding services at County American Job Centers. Also, see WorkSource Montgomery’s letter introducing Grant Associates, its new youth support vendor and this letter introducing Ross Innovation Employment Solutions, the adult and dislocated worker vendor.
Ann Mazur is MHA’s new Chief Executive Officer. Mazur has been serving as Interim Chief Executive Officer since March, and brings more than twenty five years of experience in administrative and financial management of nonprofit organizations to her new leadership position at MHA.
Community Bridges has named Shannon Babe-Thomas its new Executive Director. Most recently, Shannon was the Manager of Membership Initiatives at the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital, the largest Girl Scout council in the country. Shannon is also a civic leader and is currently a Board member of the Small Savers Child Development Center.
