Member Spotlight: Going Back to School With Passion for Learning

Passion for Learning (P4L) helps middle school students in low income communities by engaging them in after school digital technology programs and summer college readiness camps. P4L provides a continuum of opportunities to help students plan their path for success in high school, college and careers.

Coached by talented teachers and digital technology professionals as well as high school and college students, our youth become capable and contributing digital citizens as well as thriving students with aspirations and confidence for their future. Class Acts Arts is Now Artivate

Class Acts Arts, Inc., an arts education outreach organization has changed its name to Artivate, Inc. After more than 20 years of bringing the arts to schools and communities as Class Acts Arts, the organization embarked on a rebranding project to rejuvenate its brand and better connect with audiences.

The Arc Montgomery County Names New Executive Director

William “Bill” Loyd, Jr. is The Arc’s newest Executive Director following Joyce Taylor who is retiring. Loyd currently manages the District of Columbia operations for St. John’s Community Services and previously served as Executive Director of Midlands Community Development Corporation in South Carolina.
