Cindy Peña, local media expert is teaching a class on how to reach the media and get coverage. Attendees will learn how to write a media advisory or press release, identify media and create a press lists, and much more. The class will be on April 10 from 10am to noon at Montgomery Community Media (7529 Standish Place, Rockville).
The session will provide concrete tools to help with HR challenges, as well as examples from other organizations in the DC metro area who have successfully built their organizations with tight budgets.
