Montgomery County Community Grants
FY23 Nonprofit Cost Sharing Capital Grant Application
The Montgomery County Fiscal Year 2023 (FY23) Nonprofit Cost Sharing Capital Grant application is open for submissions. Applications are due February 14, 2022 at 9am.
There is a simplified Cost Sharing Capital Grants application process for FY23. While nonprofit Cost Sharing Capital Grants have been awarded in the past without a one-to-one match, projects that secure matching funding have traditionally received more awards.
Organizations only need to complete four items with the option of submitting additional materials if desired. Application tasks that must be entered or uploaded through the Fluid Review platform include:
- Applicant and Project Information Template (Required)
- Cover letter outlining the project and needs (Required)
- Completed Estimated Budget template (Required)
- Application Certification Template (Required)
- Other supporting or back-up documentation (Optional)
Department of Health and Human Services: Community Services Grants Program Grants
The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is accepting applications for the FY23 Community Services Grants Program Grants of up to $10,000 are available to support health and human service projects that promote a safe, healthy, and self-sufficient community.
- DHHS will review and evaluate all submissions, but preference will be given to applications that directly contribute to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- The program provides one-time only grants to nonprofit organizations serving Montgomery County residents and provides reimbursement to funded organizations for approved equipment and other capital purchases.
- Funded expenditures must occur between July 1, 2022 and June 30, 2023. The application deadline is January 28, 5pm.

- Community Empowerment Grants help neighbors work together to accomplish common goals that support the overall health, vitality and inclusivity of the place they call “home.”
- Applications are due: February 4, 2022
Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE)
Second Round of Child Care Stabilization Grant
- MSDE’s second and final round of Child Care Stabilization Grants is open until January 23, 2022. . MSDE will distribute more than $125 million in funding, made available through the American Rescue Plan (ARP), to child care programs in Maryland.
- MSDE held support sessions throughout the application window for providers that had questions about the application and process.
Impact 100 DC
Community Grant Program
- Impact100 DC is an all-volunteer women’s philanthropic community dedicated to improving lives in the Greater Washington, DC area by collectively funding transformational grants to local nonprofit organizations.
