The City of Gaithersburg School Grants Program assists in meeting the diverse educational needs of students through the supplemental funding of school program initiatives.These grants are designed to fill a gap in a current program or fund an unexpected challenge outside of the regular grant cycle at qualified schools. Applications are due February 24.

This year the County will hold three workshops to provide information for Community Grant Applicants. The content of each workshop will be the same and will last 1.5-2 hours. No registration is required.

  1. December 6, 2:30pm: The BlackRock Center for the Arts Main Stage
  2. December 8, 7pm: The Council Office Building, 3rd floor Hearing Room
  3. December 13, 10am: White Oak Community Recreation Center

City of Rockville Human Services Grants
The City of Rockville is accepting applications from human services (housing, health care, and supportive services to Rockville residents) nonprofits for FY18-19. Applications are due December 9 and attendance at a technical grant assistance session (November 30, 9:30am or December 6, 3:30pm) is mandatory. The Department of Health and Human Services is accepting applications for the FY18 Community Services Grants Program. The deadline for applications is December 9, 2016. A Pre-Submission meeting will be held on November 18, 4-5pm at the Rockville Memorial Library. Please RSVP (Community.ServicesGrants@montgomerycountymd.gov or call 240-777-1211) for the Pre-Submission meeting by November 16.
