Montgomery County Community Grants-January Information Workshop

The Montgomery County FY20 Community Grants Program is accepting applications through Tuesday, January 15, 2019 (before 4pm). Organizations that serve County residents and deliver services in Montgomery County are eligible to apply. For more information about how to apply, visit the Council Grants website.

WorkSource Montgomery In Search of Partner and RFP

WorkSource Montgomery is looking for a partner to launch its summer youth program. Organizations interested should submit Expressions of Interest by January 31. WorkSource Montgomery is also soliciting proposals for a contractor to provide One-Stop Operator services in Montgomery County under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). Through this RFP, WSM has allocated a maximum of $200,000 for the vendor agreement.

Request for Expressions of Interest: Extending Career Opportunities to Disconnected Youth
WorkSource Montgomery is offering up to $100,000 in funding to support an innovative proposal that will connect Opportunity Youth to substantial career pathways with a lasting impact on their future economic success. The deadline for proposals is January 31, 2019. Click here for more information. 

Volunteer Generation Fund 2019
The Center for Nonprofit Advancement and Serve DC are partnering to implement Volunteer Generation Fund 2019. The program supports the My Brother’s Keeper initiative, with the goal of increasing the number of black male volunteers working with nonprofit organizations in the District. Selected organizations receive assistance, training, and a grant of $10,000.

Apples4Ed
The U.S. Apple Association, in partnership with the School Nutrition Association and the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture, will fund five healthy snacking initiatives on school campuses across the United States in 2019.

FY20 Community Services Grants Program
Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services nonprofits grants of up to $10,000, to support health and human service projects that promote a safe, healthy and self-sufficient community. The program provides reimbursement to funded organizations for approved equipment and other capital purchases. Applications are accepted until December 10 at 3pm. Click here for more information.
