Last month the ECE Workforce Advocacy Coalition heard from Senator King about her commitment to early care and education and focus on ensuring that Maryland’s American Rescue Plan funds best serve the needs of our state’s 0-5 aged children, families, and child care providers. Click here to read more on our website.

Coalition members shared advocacy priorities that underscored the urgent need for improving the state’s early care and education system. ECE is a workforce, economic development, and equity priority and the Coalition looks forward to working with Senator King on this issue.

MMF convenes the ECE Workforce Advocacy Coalition of 50+ cross sector representatives that works to elevate the immediate and long-term sustainability of the ECE workforce. To find out more about the Coalition and MMFs Early Care and Education efforts, please visit our website or contact us.
