Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC): Phase 2
Phase Two of the MoCo Economic Development Grant Program for Nonprofits will offer broader eligibility and is open to nonprofits that offer programming in Montgomery County and can specify how these funds contribute to economic development in the county.
Phase Two applications will open on August 9, 2021 and close August 18, 2021 5pm. The new program would provide competitively selected grants ranging from $7,500 to $25,000 with additional potential grants of $50,000 or $100,000. The funds will be distributed to all selected nonprofits no later than October 1, 2021 and the nonprofit must make use of the funds by no later than December 31, 2021.
The Carl M. Freeman Foundation: FACES (Freeman Assists Communities with Extra Support) Grants Program
- targets smaller organizations that are often overlooked by funders. Grant awards are available at $10,000, $5,000, and $2,500 for a total grant award fund of $100,000.
The Horning Family Foundation (HFF): Racial Justice Initiative
- in support of Black-led organizing and advocacy for efforts to change systems, policies, narratives, and practices that oppress and harm Black communities and other communities of color.
- Grant applications are now being accepted for the first round of five-year grants totaling $2.5 million. Grants requests may range from $25,000 to $100,000 per year. The applications are due on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 11:59PM.
City of Rockville: Community Development Block Grant Program
- federal grant for housing and community development projects that benefit low and moderate-income persons. Applications are due 9/27.
