FY20 Community Services Grants Program
Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services nonprofits grants of up to $10,000, to support health and human service projects that promote a safe, healthy and self-sufficient community. The program provides reimbursement to funded organizations for approved equipment and other capital purchases. FY20 Deadlines and Dates

The County Council released the FY20 grant deadlines and workshop dates for the County Executive and County Council Community Grants. Workshops are free, open to the public and identical in content. Representatives from the County Executive, County Council, and Health and Human Services will be presenting important information on how non-profit organizations serving County residents can apply for grant funding. Previous grant recipients and new applicants are encouraged to attend a workshop.

February-April 2019 – Grants Advisory Group Review and Evaluation of Applications
Early May 2019 – Grants Advisory Group Issues Report
Late May 2019 – County Council makes funding decisions on grants as part of County Operating Budget. Proposals selected for funding are effective July 1.
