Holy Cross Home Care & Hospice serves patients and their loved ones in the community with in-home nursing, social work, spiritual support and other services. The Volunteer Coordinator at Holy Cross Home Care & Hospice plans the volunteer program for the integrated Hospice and Home Health agency, and participates in strategic planning efforts for volunteer recruitment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Mandatory BA in Healthcare Social Sciences or related field, or comparable experience.
- One year supervisory experience in healthcare, preferably in a Hospice environment.
- Two years work experience with volunteer programs preferred.
- Ability to work in team setting.
- Familiarity with principles related to death and dying.
- Commitment to the philosophy and policies of Hospice care.
- Current motor vehicle driving license.
