Assembly Rep. Jim Frazier introduced Assembly Bill (AB) 2855 to the California Assembly, which has now upset nonprofit sector. The proposed bill stated that all 501c3 nonprofits who fundraise in the state of California (not just based in the CA state) be mandated to fully disclose their overhead spending on their websites and indicate the percentage of the nonprofit’s overall funding that is spent on overhead.
