Montgomery Moving Forward is part of a national movement of leaders who are committed to strategic action in pursuit of innovative solutions to complex community problems. These problem-solving efforts known as Collective Impact strive to engage leaders from many communities and professions to work together to develop and embrace specific actionable plans and to facilitate continuous, open communication. Given the growing economic opportunity gap in Montgomery County, MMF is first focusing on the need for effective workforce development and leveraging the Collective Impact model to ignite action and drive the search for solutions on how best to train and match more county residents with the good jobs of the future.
